This policy explains what information The Well-Paid Vendor collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to run your membership, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and we can never see them.
- What you save in the calculator: your rates and settings, your logo if you upload one, and the events you create, including client names and event details you type in.
- Purchases: what you've bought and your membership status. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical information: things like your browser type and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting providers to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To create your account, give you access to what you've bought and save your work.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To send important account emails, like password resets and billing notices.
- To answer your questions and keep the site secure.
If you sign up for a free download, like the Hidden Costs Checklist, we save your email address and may send you pricing tips and news about The Well-Paid Vendor. Every email will include an easy way to unsubscribe, and we never sell or share your email.
About your clients' information
When you type client names or event details into the calculator, we store them only so you can use them. We don't contact your clients or use their information for anything else.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run The Well-Paid Vendor, including a payment processor (Stripe) and providers for secure account and data storage, website hosting, and fonts. They process information only to provide their services to us.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you logged in and to remember which event you had open. We don't use advertising cookies. To understand how the site is used, we use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami) that count visits and clicks without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved events while you have an account, so they're there if you rejoin. We keep payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can update your details or ask us for a copy of your information. You can also ask us to delete your account and saved events at any time. Email hello@thewellpaidvendor.com and we'll take care of it.
Children
Our products are for business owners and aren't intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let members know.
